She moved to San Francisco, married Keith Godchaux, and spent the 1970s as a vocalist in the Grateful Dead as well as the Jerry Garcia Band. After life with the Dead, she and Keith created the Heart of Gold Band with drummer Greg Anton and guitarist Steve Kimock.

Bobby Hicks

Bobby Hicks is a living legend with 10 Grammy Awards, 8 IBMA Awards (Including "Album of the Year"), 3 Gold Records and 1 Platinum Record.

Phuncle Sam
Phuncle Sam is Asheville's own Dead~Centric "jam band". Since their formation in 2004, Phuncle Sam has been firmly rooted in musical exploration. The band serves up inventive interpretations of Jerry Garcia, Grateful Dead and many others. They have built up a faithful following by using an approach that respects the improvisational traditions of The Dead, while exploring what can happen when individual band members bring their unique influences and interpretations into the mix.

Jaimee Tomas and Fo Show
Jaimee Tomas and Forrest Smith are two people who play music together. United in their mutual hatred of writing biographies, they spend much of their free time talking shit and passin' 'round guitar licks. It has been recommended by certain individuals that they be observed while playing songs.
